Lawton
Cablevision Channel 17 is operated from within the Instructional
Media/Technology Center. Producing educational television, video-taping
LPS functions such as Board Meetings and high school football games
and duplicating videos for sale to the public are only a few of the
responsibilities of this department.

Homework
Hotline is a television show that places teachers on the phone and in
front of the camera with the purpose of helping our students with their
homework. Students call in to the show and may either recieve assistance
over the phone or watch as they are helped through the problem on live
television.
Some
of the highlights of Homework Hotline include daily trivia questions
and drawings that reward students for calling in. Learn more HERE.

The
LPS studio crew is always on the move. Recording LPS Board Meetings
and our annual talent showcase requires mobility and experience. There
is a mobile production unit capable of taking the department on the
road with the use of microwave relays and tape-delayed programming.

Graduation
ceremonies, football games, and other LPS functions are made available
for purchase by the public. For details on ordering please contact the
Instructional Media/Technology Center.

When
we're not playing educational programming we keep parents informed with
the latest news and events from around the district. Our circulating
calendar in the off-hours keeps parents informed and up-to-date on the
latest happenings within Lawton Public Schools.
