Dedicated
to the promotion of better education for all students, the Lawton
Public Schools Instructional Media / Technology Center is located
at 753 NW Fort Sill Boulevard Lawton, Oklahoma. Under the direction
of John W. Hammond, Executive Director, the staff serves the
Lawton School District's needs by providing instructional supplies,
a custom non-commercial print shop, instructional television
on Channel 17 (Lawton) and Computer/Audio Visual repair services.
Comprised of 29 elementary schools, 7 secondary schools and
1 alternative school the Lawton Public Schools system numbers
in excess of 18,000 students. Striving to be a leader in promoting
both the basic curriculums and advanced technology, Lawton schools
have individually received many honors.
